On July 7, 2021 defendant David Moon was arrested by the MVPD on thirty (30) counts of DISTRIBUTING, POSSESSING, OR VIEWING OF MATTER DEPICTING SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONDUCT INVOLVING A CHILD which are class "B" felonies. During that investigation an additional case was opened by MVPD on a RAPE investigation. On August 8th, 2021 defendant David Moon was charged with two (2) RAPES which are class "Y" felonies as well as one (1) count of COMPUTER EXPLOITATION OF A CHILD which is a "B" felony. David Moon is currently in the Stone County Detention Center were he is being held on a $250,000 bond for the first case and an additional $500,000 bond for the second case.
